Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the strategy and execution of all facets of recruitment throughout the organization. Manages the employment marketing and brand strategies that attract active and passive candidates. Serves as a resource for leadership and all associates both in and out of the HR Department where needed.  Ultimately this person will:

  • Perform people management functions to include, but not limited to: hire, coach, develop, motivate, train, evaluate, reward, discipline and terminate. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives surrounding the recruitment and retention of all levels of diverse talent in a multi-site/multi-state organization
  • Track and report on key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity, trend feedback from exit interviews, and determine appropriate continuous improvement action items
  • Develop, implement and maintain all vendor selection and maintenance processes surrounding the staffing process including external staffing agencies, ATS vendor, advertising resources, relocation vendors, background verification vendors, assessment providers and other related resources
  • Develop and manage formal college/university recruitment strategy and implement internship programs in desired departments across the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or other related area; equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
  • 5+ years’ experience in recruitment,
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred
